Thank you for visiting this site to learn more about me! I look forward to continue working hard and representing our shared values in my second term in the Arizona House of Representatives.
I bring to this race almost 25 years experience advocating for children and families at the community, state, and national levels. In my first term in the State House, I have served as a bipartisan consensus-builder, moving across ideological and party lines to get results for Arizona families. I currently serve on the Education Committee and the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, crafting legislation critical to our schools and necessary to keep Arizona moving.
I have also been an elected member of the Kyrene School District Governing Board for the last 12 years, and have helped make the district nationally recognized for its programs and its students' high academic performance. In my time there I have spearheaded measures that kept Kyrene's budget balanced every year I served, as well as made the district No. 1 in similarly-sized Arizona school districts in terms of dollars being put directly into the classroom.
